During the month of April, youth have been attending our filmmaking offering at Cardel Rec South.
With our phones as our recording and editing tools, our participants have been navigating a new realm of expression, having the chance to put together unique visual pieces and breaking down simple actions into movies.
The filmmaking course is a pilot launched by the Film Lab, aiming to creating meaningful pieces as a result of collective reflection on social emotional topics in different communities.
The month of April, we focused on learning technical components, such as composition, camera angles, camera movements, pre-production items… and much more.
Now until the end of our adventure, we are going to be focusing on creating a joint final piece that we could showcase in our final event.
