In our upcoming program, “Creative Filmmaking for a Positive Impact,” we’re gearing up to empower youth to make a difference in their communities through the powerful medium of video.
Over the course of 10 weeks, participants will embark on a journey of self-discovery and social exploration through video creation. With just their smartphones, they’ll engage in various activities aimed at exploring technical skills and unleashing their creativity.
Themes like discrimination and community engagement will serve as the backdrop for our discussions and activities. We’ll also touch on soft skills like entrepreneurship and self-empowerment, empowering participants to find their voice and make a positive impact.
Through hands-on activities and group discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of social issues in a safe and supportive environment. They’ll then channel their reflections into artistic video projects, exploring topics close to their hearts.
The program will culminate in a final showcase where each participant will unveil their unique video project on a mental health topic they’re passionate about. It’s a chance for them to share their perspectives and spark meaningful conversations.
Our main goal is to equip participants with the tools and confidence to address social issues through video creation. By honing their technical and artistic skills, they’ll be better equipped to share their message with the world.
“Creative Filmmaking for a Positive Impact” aims to empower youth to express themselves and advocate for change. By providing them with a platform to share their ideas and feelings, we’re nurturing the next generation of changemakers.
Throughout the program, we’ll focus on fostering initiative and problem-solving skills. Participants will learn how to effectively communicate their thoughts and emotions on important topics like integration and discrimination, using the medium of video as their canvas.
